Where should I start? hotel: I didn't stay there myself, but I visited a friend there from the advice for weeks as a stop capacity with an old child. everything I can say is as soon as I am. I wanted to put foot in the room and have a shower. the shape over the windows and corners of the deck, the bathroom with dirty. it looked literally as if it had been abandoned for a few years. absolutely disgusting. restaurant takeaway: I ordered a few times from this place, about years ago, I saw it as a luxury alternative to my usual places in letchworth, I took luxury because of the blackmailed prices, but the quality of the food was undercut, bland and only in the really bad quality. unnecessary to say after seeing how the hotel is above the restaurant, I would never recommend anyone to stay or eat at this place.

My room turned out to be very small, with a tiny bed that was even smaller than an iPad. There was no light cover in the bathroom, with live wiring exposed to condensation, and signs of moisture around the bathroom window. The exterior of the hotel looked shabby, with missing letters from the hotel sign and windows in need of repair. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unprofessional. It made me wonder if they should consider finding new employment. Overall, not a great experience at this hotel.

The personal was rude; the rooms and the furniture fell apart; the floors were dirty, especially the stairs and dirty hand towels were found left under the beds. the toilet brush holder was full dirty water, it was near the city, but we were made to pay before we see the room. please don't stay here, I couldn't wait to go.

I could no longer agree with these terrible reviews, as I and my ex-boyfriend had a very similar experience when we were in bed and breakfast. the room was dirty and dusty, the staff was rude to my friend told him to hurry. up to his breakfast in the morning we checked and above that they gave us a twin room instead of a double room and they refused to move us into a double room, although the hotel was not exactly booked with guests and they did not even apologize, although they saw that we were friends and friend and nobody wanted to serve in hunger. I think this place should be shut off as I think it's an absolute scandal and I'm afraid to think how her restaurant is!?

I had to travel to Stevenage for work with a colleague and we were unable to secure rooms at hotels in Stevenage, so we booked two rooms at this establishment instead. The rooms were very basic and not very clean, the hot water in the bathroom was only lukewarm, and my colleague's shower overflowed when used. The staff seemed indifferent and pretended not to understand us. We had booked continental breakfast for two days in advance, but were informed that breakfast didn't start until 8 am. We needed it at 7 am and asked if we could cancel, but were told it had already been purchased and couldn't be cancelled. The night manager was very noisy, constantly opening and closing doors, and when I complained at 2 am on the second night, I did not receive a satisfactory response. Upon checking out, we asked for our bill, but were told it would be sent (it still hasn't arrived) and that payment had already been taken. We later discovered that instead of taking a deposit as indicated on the booking confirmation, they had charged the full amount to our card a week before our arrival. I would not recommend this place at all due to it being overpriced, having rude staff, and being unclean.
