I visited the restaurant with my two-year-old baby in the morning to surprise her while she was sick the past few days. Unfortunately, the staff did not make it a special experience. They were very rude and unwelcoming, and even the cake we ordered was cut poorly. I had expected this cafe to be child-friendly, but I was disappointed with the service.
I wanted to take my mother for a late Mother's Day surprise and walk past every weekend of molly's tea room when I lived in hitchin, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to immerse. we were warmly welcomed and our sitting showed. before they were asked for our drink order, they were more than happy to exchange my tea for a milkshake that was really nice. then we had our sandwiches and cakes, all very obviously freshly prepared and taste great! it was a nice selection with something for everyone (including a fussy party member). Finally, it was time for scenes that were still warm! had a really nice time, and my mother thoroughly enjoyed what was the main thing. would recommend mollys tea room definitiw as the drink, eating and staff were all lovely
This charming tea house offers a lovely variety of dips! I only had coffee with nut cake and a pot of tea, but they also offer a selection of sandwiches and a full afternoon tea including finger sandwiches and scones. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful. They have a unique selection of teapots, and they are conveniently located in the city center with buses nearby. Definitely worth a visit!
After not seeing each other for what felt like years, my two friends and I went to Molly's for afternoon tea. When we arrived, we were initially seated at a small table. Fortunately, we were later moved to a larger one, which was much more comfortable. The variety of teas was good, although the menu suggested asking the server about fruit teas, but when I did, the server just directed me to the menu. In the end, I opted for Chamomile tea, which came in a generously sized pot. The sandwiches, scones, and cakes were all delicious, and there was plenty to take home in a doggy bag. Would I come back? Absolutely. I might even get the chance to try their fruit teas next time!
