The Bushel And Strike

We visited bushel and strike for the first time yesterday after we visited our friends living in ashwell. we were so impressed that the pub made good, traditional Sunday redness. the quality of food, generous portions and presentation surpassed our expectations. it is a really nice pub, with a really friendly renter in a beautiful village and we will definitely return to try more of their great food.

Good eating, great portions, amazing location. we sat outside with a view of the church. very quiet and peaceful. the evening dinner on Wednesday. for us it was number 1 pub selection in ashwell.

Can not fault this lovely village pub. We had Sunday lunch this afternoon and we were absolutely overwhelmed with the food, staff and the fantastic service. The pub was very busy .The Sunday roast we had beef and lamb and the desserts were to die for. We will definitely return again and recommend to everyone every time.

Delicious Sunday lunch. Roast Turkey and a Nut Roast. Both really nice and hot. Great vegetables and the cauliflower cheese was a much appreciated extra. Friendly service Throughly recommend Thank you

From the moment we entered, the bar staff were super friendly and helpful. My kids were given the ok to share an Adult burger which was great. The food was lovely, and the service was fantastic. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely place to enjoy a relaxing meal.
