Yum Yum Donuts - North Hollywood

Aside from the unfortunate sight of someone relieving themselves on the sidewalk outside, the food was delicious! It reminded me of donuts.

The donuts are very good, but the champurradas are the best!

Imagine giving a donut shop with 4.5 stars just donuts that taste 3 days old. What a joke!

Terrible service. The girl working on the counter was busy when we got in. No problem. While we waited for her to be done, we all discussed what donuts we wanted. She seemed to listen and pay attention to what we confirmed with each other what I thought was wonderful. Multitasking. Apparently, she only smiled about my husband. He's waaay better than me, and I have no low self-respect, I'm just realistic. He ordered everything he usually does. Every time I said something, she looked at me like I was ridiculous and gave me what she wanted instead of the one I pointed out and asked. It was literally only 3 decisions from the entire box. The rest was for my husband and son. She seemed to serve her own husband and son instead of total strangers who are customers, and the blatant escape from my face was absurd. We don't get yum-yum very often. This place has seen us for the last time EVER. What is the stupid b-word??? I know it won't hurt her business because we really don't go there very often. The dry and tasty tasting donuts we brought home also helped us complete our decision. They fell in crumbs when we took them to eat them. What a waste. I hope the owner sees this and is aware of the terrible service. Btw, the beautiful donuts presented here in the wonderful pictures are NIE there when we come in. Only the same tired boring choices they always have.
