Went for the soup with panini, soup was cold sent it back and obviously just put in microwave cos came back with skin on it and too hot it was bubbling , in the same dish which was now too hot to touch , sons meal had 10 peas on it , person behind bar was serving his friends before any other customers stood waiting ages whilst they finished conversation about what’s happening at the weekend , won’t be returning , not offered anything full meal left untouched

I have visited many of the Wetherspoons pubs and this one is very often under staffed behind the bar. With one member of staff posted only for online orders (and nothing else it seems). Often many deep at the bar with only 2 serving, I'll pass in future.

Recently visited at lunchtime with friends. Fish chips mushy peas and a drink for under £6. What a bargain tasty too would recommend

My title says it all. You cannot go wrong for value for money regarding drinks. However yesterday's visit....and we go very often....has put us off returning for food again. This happened last summer but things improved. Yesterday? Mostly inedible.

Just been for lunch, not something I will do again in a hurry. The food is ok but the staff really need some training. Sat down at a table that needed clearing (it wasn’t the only one) eventually someone came and took the dirty plates, didn’t bother to come back and wipe the table! I used my own wipes. Menus were sticky and dirty, sauce bottles empty, not a good impression. Nearly every table had dirty glasses on but I must have counted half a dozen times when staff brought food out and went back empty handed, as an ex landlady this is a basic lack of training.
