Eat My Catfish - North Little Rock

I haven’t had great experiences here in the past, but since it’s my friend’s favorite, I decided to give it another try. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised—there’s a new vibe that I really liked. The staff was welcoming, and the food was incredibly fresh. I can’t overlook this place anymore; I’ll definitely be returning. Whatever changes have been made are a job well done—it’s definitely improved!

I decided to give this restaurant another chance, even though I was hesitant due to my previous experiences. A friend of mine mentioned that there was a new female manager who had outlined some upcoming changes. Since my wife loves this place, we went ahead and visited. To my surprise, it felt like a completely different restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the dining area was clean. The person who brought us our food checked on us more frequently than I've ever experienced there before. The food was served hot; I wasn't a fan of the tomato relish, but everything else was really good. It seems like the right changes might be taking place, and I have to say I was impressed, which is not something I say easily. I now feel comfortable returning.

The food here is expertly balanced, with the beans providing a gentle heat that gradually intensifies. I'm not usually a fan of catfish, but theirs is incredible. I will definitely be returning!

We both got the Try it all combo! We have not tried their shrimps and chicken tenders. It did not disappoint! We already love their fried catfish and their tartar sauce. The fried shrimp was delectable and they had cocktail sauce that you could dip them into. Their chicken tenders were crispy and juicy and it came with a honey mustard dipping sauce. I like their coleslaw, it's not to sweet. I also like their Cajun rice. Their French fries is always crispy. Everything is seasoned and cooked very well.

I had such a wonderful experience here today. It was my very first time. My wife and I visited for the very first time and all we could say was wow. The cashier Andrew greeted us with a heartwarming smile and was very patient with us. Kim (the food runner) was also very sweet. The food was very tremendous and we will definitely be back. This is a restaurant I would recommend. Best Catfish in town!!!
