Thomas Family Winery - North Madison

My husband and I absolutely loved the Seyval Blanc and enjoyed hanging out on the patio with our dogs. The charcuterie board and chatting with a local Madison resident was a great addition to our day as well.

My boyfriend just turned 21 and we stopped in here to celebrate. We told the owner and he was more than excited to explain to us some things about wine we certainly hadn't heard before! It was a lovely experience with the tasting being free and the owner being so kind and patient explaining everything to us. Some of the best wine we've ever had, we left with 3 bottles!

Lousy tasting experience, period. That's all I can say from 4 of us

PRE-COVID we enjoyed their wine, bread and live music. However last Summer (2022) when we dropped by after a long day's hike, I was not sure about the wine choices and instead of explaining options the owner (older male) dismissed me, and abruptly went to the couple next to us! I was shocked! We tried twice to give them a second chance another time in case he was having a bad day and both times he was unwelcoming and rude. My husband and I will never go there again!
