Café Crème - North Miami

It was a delightful surprise to know that the same owner of the old Buena Vista is, so the quality was expected. Amazing! I'm so glad to discover this jewel and not so far from home. Great place and parking. I'm probably back a lot!

I stumbled upon this place and was so excited because it is French American and I am going to Paris this year.. Of course I had the croissant and Portobello and goat cheese omelet with mixed greens on the side. Delicious. I also got their veggie juice absolutely tasty with just the right amount of ginger as well as beets and apple and I believe carrots. So good. My taste buds were bursting with delight. The bathroom was clean. When I went inside that is when I discovered they have lots of pastries. I shall return for their decadent looking pastries.

We had dinner and it wasn't crowded after 730pm. Parking is off of NE 7th Ave, behind the restaurant and in front of the police department. No charge for parking. The Chef saw us coming and seated us herself. She is very friendly and gave us menu's. I ordered a Cocktail called Haitian Circle, I think. It was very good. We ordered the lentil soup and it was delicious and seasoned to a peppery spice taste. It was nice and thick, not runny and watery. My friend had the ham and cheese quiche. I tried a bite of it and was impressed how fluffy and light it tasted, even the crust was baked and yummy. We both ordered Beef Bourgogne which came with seasoned roasted potatoes. This entree was superb. The meat was tasty and overall appearance with requisite carrots and gravy a flavorful combination, was scrumptious. For, dessert...I had to try the chocolate mousse. It was light and airy just the right amount of taste and texture. We will definitely go back.

Had a salad and sandwich and salad for lunch at this place. It was pretty good! The salad was full of flavor and the sandwich was really fresh and tasty. I ordered two mimosas and it was feeling good lol. Needless to say, the mimosas were EVERYTHING! I somehow didn?t get it into the pictures. I would definitely visit again. Be mindful of the wait time though. During lunch hours you may be waiting a bit in between to order and get food etc.

When a cafe offers a ?latte bowl? on the menu, you know it?s going to have good coffee. We would come back just for the coffee and the Nutella beignets. We liked the baked goods a bit more than the main courses, though the food wasn?t bad. Awesome outdoor seating area, indoors looks nice too, and great service. We?ve driven by Cafe Crème a hundred times and were always curious. Glad we finally stopped in and tried it.
