L'auberge - North Miami

Tonight's experience was not very pleasant. We ordered fried fish, but it was old and lacked flavor. I'm sorry to say that this isn't the kind of place where you can expect good food and service. However, there are other restaurants with excellent food and friendly service, which feels genuine without being pretentious. You should definitely try those; I think you'll really enjoy them.

I recently learned about this restaurant thanks to glowing recommendations from friends and decided to make the journey from Kendall to try it for myself. I have to say, it exceeded all my expectations. Every dish I tried, including the griot, oxtail stew, pate kode, and legume, was cooked to perfection. My favorites were definitely the griot and the pate kode with fish. Despite the distance, the delicious food makes the trip worthwhile. I was also pleasantly surprised by how affordable the menu was. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, serves fantastic authentic Haitian cuisine, and the staff is very respectful. I can’t wait for my next visit!

I’ve only tried their AKRA so far, and I absolutely loved it! I can’t wait to order again and sample other dishes!

Had the griot and legumes, everything was seasoned to perfection. Great presentation and variety of textures. Wonderful service, good vibes inside, homey and clean establishment. Also many of the patrons seemed to be Haitian, which is a good sign of the authenticity of the cuisine. Don’t hesitate, come try out this gem.
