The District Brasserie

We did brunch. Had the District Brunch Bowl and the Veggie Bowl. Great flavor, large portions. Mimosas!!! Jazz music on the patio! Great service.

I'd hate to give this place three stars because the food is actually quite good but this review is based off of my most recent visit.

The mussels here are exceptional although the fries are a little bit overdone and slightly cold.

I love the District! It is a regular spot for dinner. They have a great menu of tapas style appetizers and amazing mussels! They also have an extensive list of Belgian Beer, including one that you have to surrender your shoes to have!!It is a small and intimate atmosphere with an open kitchen so you can feel in the middle of the action. It is a great location at the foot of Lonsdale with easy access to Galleries, Lonsdale Quay and the Seabus.

Great food, although a lot of it is fried. Our server Miranda was fantastic and was great with our group of 6 women who drank copious amounts of wine. I am glad we had a reservation as it was full!!
