Írjon visszajelzéstThis theater was always one of my favorite places to visit. I have been coming here since before it was Phoenix. I remember not liking the name change at first but it had grown on me over my years of going since they truly kept the magic of going to movies at a local theater alive. It may not have the greatest movie technology compared to the AMC chain of theaters but it does provide a unique experience that is sadly fading away in the current cinema landscape. My friends and I had always made this our go to theater for seeing movies. It had turned into a tradition for us to go see the Marvel movies specifically at this theater. Even when Avengers: Endgame came out we still insisted on going here to see it over any of the more modern theaters. We had so much fun going and seeing so many great movies here and the experiences we had will never be forgotten. It’s truly a shame that a place that has brought so much joy to people is closing its doors. We can only hope that the space will be utilized by another cinema company in the future. Thank you Phoenix for keeping this theater special.
Loved it. My family got together to take the kids out and they all had so much fun
Phoenix Big Cinemas in North Versailles is a dirty establishment. I’ve been coming here for years, was here right before they closed due to coronavirus, I came a few times since they’ve reopened, and I was just here a few days ago. Each time I come here, I feel like the service and quality gets worse and worse. I’ve talked to two managers multiple times in the past, and they were very unhelpful. A manager there named Michael C was always very rude and barely gave me the time of day when I would inform him about the lack of cleanliness. The other manager I talked to on multiple visits a couple years ago right before covid, J. Beatty, refused to assist me when I complained about rowdy teens in the theater. A few days ago, I walk in and there were only 2 people ahead of me and 3 people in the other line...but for some reason there was still a 10 minute wait. I then go to the concession stand and it's run by slow and rude workers. The customer service was horrible, and the theater is poorly run as the managers can't seem to keep up with the demands of their job. The bathroom was dirty and walking to my theater showing there were multiple spills of popcorn, nacho chips, and other food on the floor. There were 2 ushers in the hallway who were more interested in playing on their phones and exchanging gossip with each other than cleaning up in the hallway. I go inside the theater and couldn't help but notice how filthy it was. Lots of cup holders had cups, napkins, food, etc. that wasn't cleaned up. Tons of messes on the floor. Some of the arm rests were ripped to pieces and during the movie my foot stuck to the floor as it was still sticky (clearly the ushers didn't clean very well in between movie times). I hope no one else will have the unsatisfactory experience like I did.
Gave 5 stars. Happy it closed. Now more room for motorcycles. Great place years ago, lot of great memories. The last 5yrs it went down hill. Staff gave up caring. Cant keep up with the dirtiness and unruly teans. Seen one time management trying to people out and they pull the race card. The hood element ruins another bussiness
Nice Place and is what is to be expected at a movie theater. It is combined with a Trampoline Park so lots of young people around. I was surprised to see a lady with a stroller with a dog in it. Huh? Oh Well. Checked for exits for safety. You never know anymore!
