Kin Sushi North York

Been here multiple times now and the fish is always very fresh. Not too much rice in the rolls and lots of stuff in each roll. Lots of interesting rolls as well. They are my go to for party trays and take out now. Dine-in is also usually not too busy.

So not a bad sushi joint… prices were good, food was tasty, but the sequence of foods were not respected (ie received seaweed salad last), the staff were cordial but slightly on the slower side.Don’t get me wrong, I still recommend Kin sushi, but there is your reality check. Go forth and do sushi, but if you are short on time…. Then patience will be required.

I came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon with 3 friends. I ordered the energy special roll (dynamite roll with unagi and avocado), one friend ordered the sushi and tempura lunch bento, and my two other friends ordered the sushi and sashimi lunch bento. I loved the energy roll; it was really delicious and the portion was good. My friend who ordered the sushi and tempura bento said that he liked his food, but I'm taking off 1 star from this review because the two friends who ordered the sushi and sashimi bentos said that their food tasted just okay and the fish wasn't that fresh.The staff were very attentive and friendly. The menu prices are reasonable. The interior decor is nice and the restaurant has a decent amount of seating. I'm interested in coming back here to try other items from the special rolls menu.

Sushi was really good, the menu is extensive so it was to choose what we wanted but everything we got was really good. If you're a garlic girl, get the garlic mayo for your sushi on the side. Game changer!

This is by far the best sushi restaurant in the city. As someone who can't eat raw fish, I always opt for their insanely good Oishi torched salmon sushi and shrimp tempura, which are so delicious that I could eat them every day.
