That was our favorite watering hole for many years. The staff was always friendly. Food is British pub-style farewell from scotch eggs to färsen and mash. The menu is not huge, but includes a number of pub foods. They serve Halibut as their fish (most Fi... and Chi places serve Haddock) and their fries are homemade wedges and they have malt vinegar! Tartar Sauce is homemade and delicious! Onion rings are small and slightly broken, but crispy, and the Aoli-Dip is ripe and delicious. Breakfast is a complete English, served all day. My personal Fave is the wing... hot! They are crispy and full of taste. Fits well with a pint of Smithwicks or Harp! This pub has a relaxing atmosphere, but is small and cozy. It can fill out quickly as it has half a dozen tables and a few small stands. Go for the ambience and food. You will not be disappointed....after many visits, zero complaints from us!

Had good old fish n' chips very tasty and authentic in fact! Wifey had Färsche n' Maische (for her old British people who know) and we will definitely eat again when we are in the area.

A jewel in Scarborough, Ontario. A great place. God food, mostly homemade, served by dedicated owners. What is not to love this hidden gem!

The pub was fine, but the decor could use a refresher. The food was okay, my beer was slightly warm, servers were friendly.

It was Saturday night, we just got off from a 12-hour gig and needed a cold drink and a hot meal...A friend bumped into us and said she had just had a great meal at the pub across the street. What a life-saver!! The place...is warm, cozy and has a Cheers atmosphere. They were packed but the hostess said that there were a couple of spots at the bar...Good enough for us! Our friendly and personable bartender, Chris, hooked us up with two beautifully cold beers and we ordered from the to-the-point menu. I expected typical pub fare...You know, the soggy veggies, zapped entree etc...Boy, was I in for a pleasant surprise! I ordered the Steak Kidney pie with mashed and veggies. The veggies were crisp (had to be fresh and the pie was among the best I have ever had!! My date ordered the chicken club...Perfection! Real roasted chicken and all of the fixings including excellent chunky wedge fries! If you are in the Victoria Park Avenue/Hwy 401 area this place will not dissappoint! I will be back in the area in a few weeks (another gig and will be eating here...Guaranteed: !!
