The ambiance here is always beautiful, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The Prosecco and San Miguel are great, and the food is excellent. This is definitely one of our favorite places!

This charming pub is located in a picturesque village on the east side of Northampton. I met a friend here for lunch, and the staff was warm and helpful. I ordered the classic pub fare of scampi and chips. The chips were excellent, and while the scampi was slightly overcooked, it was still better than being underdone. I have no complaints; I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the overall experience.

Only moved to the village and decided to come in advance for drinks and eating here to check our new locals. eating was amazing and the environment is beautiful. her beer garden is a beautiful family-friendly environment. the food was very generous and the food was delicious. the staff are friendly and happy to have a laugh. 10/10. so glad that this is our new place! update: we have now lived almost a year in the village and come here a few times in the week. the personal is brilliant, always friendly, they know, our beverage order and eating is always good. never had any problems here and the weekly quiz on Thursday is much fun. the locals are welcoming and always for a chat.

Always had nothing less than a fantastic time here, even before the restrictions, the staff are always extremely friendly and polite, plus they've managed to carry that over even though dealing with gov restrictions/limitations currently. *edit* Since the original review, now that all restrictions are gone, if anything it's only gotten better, the recent-ish update to the outside dining area is amazing, fully covered with heaters too means can dine outside in comfort whatever the weather. Plus the revamped garden/kids play area is a great addition too.
