Most of the dishes at this restaurant are spicy ...so be warned! Other than that, you will be surprised at the range of dishes on the menu; however, there were not many vegetable dishes offered although the deep friend eggplant is a standout.

We underestimated the spiciness of the food and did not request the chilly sauce to be toned down.Steam snapper in chilly sauce was too spicy to appreciate the sweetness of the fish. The chicken in wine soup and sliced fried pork were good. Har Lok prawns was equally spicy including a vegetable dish.Being Malaysians, we thought the food cannot be more spicy than in Malaysia since it is operating in Perth. We were wrong.Service and cleanliness need improvement.The waitress has to be asked for change of plates.For those who cannot take too spicy stuff, strongly recommend to request for less spicy food.

We accidentally stumbled to Kenko when doing a birthday dinner. The place serves Malaysian Chinese cuisine, with the killer sauce. The special house ginger sauce for the Hainan-steam chicken is in the top most killer list. The steam fish with the ginger sauce covering the fish is also very great. Check on the fish on season with the waiter (following market price). The crispy pork slices is also a must try. We have been there on several occasions and had always left the restaurant feeling happy and satisfied. Visit in group as you could try on more dishes to share. For a great dinner (with up to 6-7 dishes and complementary water), it costs less than 30 AUD if sharing amongst 5 people.

A family business conveniently close to train station. It is where you can find some yummy home style Malaysian Chinese dishes that one can relate to some home style dishes. The staff are always happy to cater any special dietary requirements and to please. A plus point that it is also BYO at $2 per person.
