Oriental Mandarin Chinese Restaurant

Nice Chinese food! I am from Hong Kong and the foods make me feel like home! Especially the Hong Kong style clay pot rice, it's unique at Perth! The set also come with a homemade soup! The boss is nice and friendly, he gave great suggestion for food order.

Have read some of the old reviews but it's all not true. Agree it's new owner but love the new dishes, Since he took over last year there's lots of new dishes which we can't find in Perth. Good thing that I tried it myself with friends and families and all of us love it. We went there tonight there's was a pot of soup ( new menu) placed outside the shop to let us try, which we can't find this in Perth. There's claypot rice being cooked directly on the stove,not where some places it just add cooked rice and top with cooked meat. But with this dish you just have to be patient to wait it might take about half an hour to be serve. If you love fried fish, fried flounder with chillies, garlic and salt its so good and cheap. Mr Li is very nice and accommodating he always happy to have feedback from customers so he can improve. Price reasonable too. Keep Up The Good Cooking Mr Li.

We were surprised with quality of food, very traditional Chinese dinner place. Went there with friends and family, enjoyed the meal. Certainty go again and try other dishes.

Went there on 19/07/2015 at 1030PM along with three other people. The Name/Business changed into "Oriental china" or something, I assume the owner as well.  I have been there before many times but this time  it was a total waste of money and a rip off on top.  Ordered 2 serves of veg n prawn fried rice & 2 serves of Garlic prawn. After a wait of 30mins, the fried rice dish came in first and then after another 5-6 mins the prawn came in, hence the fried rice became cold and the the prawn used in garlic prawn was very small ones. The prawn dish was lacking enough gravy and the onions were under-cocked and there were too much onions. I have counted a total of 5 prawns in the both serve of fried rice. The taste was average and I believe I can do better then them by myself.  In the middle, this owner guy (I think), was wearing a weird jacket was smoking right out of the door and the whole room was filled with smell of smoke.  At the end, when we were paying, I have informed them about the issues, the waiter girl was apologetic but that weird guy with weird jacket thinks its our fault, he said we left it too long without eating, thats why. Then I said Im not coming back, then he said literally "It's ok".    Finally the bill came as $69.20. Seriously, for 2 serves of garlic prawn and 2 serves of fried rice. (Quality Wise, they deserved not more then $10 for all). Not ever going to that s***whole.   *******Never seen that dirty cutlery and glasses********** *******Yes! I have told all my friends about it, and they are your weekly eater*******
