Mesa Urbana Mexican Fusion - Northbrook

I had family visiting from vacation, and after two weeks of home-cooked meals and the usual Chicago outings, I wanted to treat them to a hidden gem. So we went to Mesa Urbana, and it was a hit with everyone! The Lachsplatte seasoned with the signature mango, the new chicken breast dinner, and the halibut were all amazing.

We ordered the shrimp ceviche, and it was delicious with a delightful kick. The cauliflower dish was also outstanding. We also tried the chicken pasta, and I can honestly say it was the best I've ever had—I can't wait to have it again! The carne asada was spectacular, cooked to perfection. The margaritas were delicious as well, among the best I've ever tasted. I’m looking forward to trying the burger and everything else on the menu. Thank you for the wonderful service, Mo and Ash. We will definitely be back!

Mesa Urbana is a must-try restaurant! Whether you choose to sit at the bar or in the dining area, the atmosphere is inviting and relaxed, thanks to the friendly and attentive staff. The appetizer selection is diverse and delicious, and the cocktails are absolutely top-notch. Our server, Alex, made us feel right at home and provided excellent recommendations. I highly recommend this place! Also, I want to mention that their brunch is fantastic!

Excellent. Great food. Delicious cocktails. Fortunately, I didn't drive to see many. Pay the price this morning, but it's worth it. The co-owner Ash made our group of 6 feel welcome. Also the bartender Edgar and his nice partner in the mixology were great. Will be back.

Very welcoming new restaurant at Six Corners in Chicago. Outdoor dining available as restaurants are reopening during COVID-19 to serve their customers.
