My Favorite Restaurant. Food is always the highest quality and for what you get for the price is awesome. Always a next day lunch or midnight snack. I would recommend to all to go there, for just because, 1st date, birthday, anniversary or any special occasion. Staff are always very nice and great. Never an issue. I been going there for over 45 years and never found any restaurant comparing to them. They are the best!

We always have such fun at Ron of Japan! We love watching the high quality food being cooked right before us. All ages enjoy the classic Japanese atmosphere. It is a unique place! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that Open Table didn't transmit our reservation right or the restaurant lost it and so we had to wait 15 minutes for a table because they weren't expecting us.

Our family has been going here for over 30 years and unfortunately for quite some time it has been going downhill. It’s definitely not like it used to, the food is less quality, and the service is not great. It’s really unfortunate because this used to be such a great restaurant, and it has so much potential.

We’ve been dining here for 20+ years and never before have all the exhaust fans been out of order. The service by Alex-who due to short staffing was both our server AND chef-was excellent. As was the quality of the food. We also had an outstanding table of folks to dine with. However, we constantly had to “duck” when the smoke was rising to keep it out of our faces. There should have been some accommodation made. It won’t stop us from going there but we will check before hand next time to make sure their fans are operating.

Overall the place was uninspiring. When we arrived, the greeter seemed tired and a bit sad.  we were pleased that we were seated at a booth as we had two children with us. That’s probably the best part of the experience – it was family friendly.  The chef was friendly and created fire for the kids, which was great, but there were none of the other fancy teppanyaki moves were used to seeing. Ron of Japan uses a recipe for their grilled me that combines egg and butter. It was all over our shrimp steak, etc. I didn’t like the taste and didn’t think it was a very nice look.  i had noticed the so-so reviews and I now understand why. We were glad that it was an easy experienced to bring kids however, we won’t return
