Appetit Bistro

There are new owners (which we did not know until we arrived). eating was very good, but it is clear that the new management needs to vote the service well. first we were brought a false bottle of wine. next, they took our broth plates away before we broke! it is a little bit about that on a Saturday night, 3/4 of the tables were empty, while under the former property, weekend evenings were packed.

Maybe it was a night since it was the eve of a holiday, but eating was just fair.

Food was great. The owner was welcoming and very accommodating. We loved the place. We’ve already been back. We went again the very next day!

Thank god they have a “private room” because the main dining floor is too noisy for conversation. The food and service very good. I like this restaurant a lot, but when you dine with friends, you want to be able to have a conversation without screaming.

First time here but won’t be the last! Very friendly service including the bartender. We started out with the fondue which was very good and perfect amount for two. It would be great if there was something fresh i.e. apple chunks to break up the bread, bacon, and potatoes but that’s just my personal taste. He had the French onion burger and it was so good! French fries excellent. Loved French bistro decor/vibe. No complaints at all about service, food, ambience or price.
