Mc Greal's Tavern - Norwell

A hidden gem on the south shore! I had heard so much about it, and it truly exceeded my expectations.

Just what the South Shore needed! The food is excellent, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is outstanding.

The hosts were completely unfriendly and unhelpful. We had a reservation, but they refused to accommodate an extra person. We were seated at a high-top table in the corner of the bar, despite many open seats at the bar and tables throughout our visit that we were not allowed to use. We placed our orders for drinks, appetizers, and dinner with the extra person included. The manager walked by at least a dozen times and never acknowledged us. However, our waitress, Samantha, was very attentive and pleasant. The food was average, and the atmosphere was excessively loud. If you’re looking for a place surrounded by pretentious individuals in a high-end setting, this is the spot.

Amazing! The atmosphere is lovely, the service is top-notch, and the food is delicious. My friends and I relished the variety of appetizers, cocktails, main courses, and desserts! Every bite was a delight.
