Johnnys Clam Shack - Norwich

I attempted to call in a takeout order on Saturday, April 3rd, from 4:10 to 4:35 PM, but my calls went unanswered for 25 minutes. It’s incredibly frustrating not being able to reach anyone to place an order or get details about the menu. This experience reflects very poor customer service!

Incredible seafood snack! This place is truly a gem in Norwich. The fish and chips were among the best I've ever tasted, and the hush puppies, which are hard to find in Connecticut, were fantastic. The crab bites were a delightful surprise—small crab cake balls fried to perfection. The location is charming and easy to locate.

The venue is perfect for a quick bite, and everything is made fresh. The clam chowder is the best I've ever had, along with the lobster bisque and the onion rings, which are all delicious.

This is a fantastic spot for fried seafood! We had the fish and chips, which were what you'd expect from a classic fried fish dish. We’re definitely thinking about returning to explore some of the other menu items that others seemed to enjoy. It’s a nice place, though there isn’t much else to do around. Overall, it was a pleasant experience!

Great place oysters were great, fish taco super. Onion also rings well. Nice friendly service and owner is great
