La Maison Blanche Bakery Cafe - Norwich

On a beautiful Saturday around the noon time stopped and found the place to be empty by customers. I had high expectations because I'm a fan of Bohemian Moon, her sister institution. The pastries have been picked up and not what others have shown on photos attached to their reviews. I thought about how it was later on Saturday, and this is probably the kind of place where you need to get there early for the best selections. What has disappointed me is that we could see the kitchen and several people have contacted us. Everybody turned their heads. No one wanted to ask if we wanted anything. I would definitely have bought some contracts, I would have asked. It was the complete opposite of the friendly experience I had the Bohemian Moon. After we were ignored near the register for a few minutes, we went back and are unfortunately not going back.

What an awesome, unexpected treat in Norwich. Myself and a group of friends went here on Sunday afternoon and had such a wonderful meal. Lots of delicious food and do NOT get me started on those baked goods. That chocolate mousse cake is calling my name...I already feel like I need to go back just for that! Reasonable pricing and accommodating for a larger party as well. Space to sit out on the deck or inside with the AC. Beautiful spot and great quality items--we will be back!

Great desserts but I can only have 1 kind. Wish there was more gluten free options. ?

Amazing pastries! The atmosphere is perfect and the staff friendly. Recommended!

A charming cafe overlooking distant hills. The savory dishes are light and tasty. The sweets are much closer to European standards, which is great if you prefer rich and lightly sweetened desserts. A definite gem for any small town.
