The Swan Inn - Norwich

Fantastic setting. Our table was by the window which was perfect, overlooking the broad. Quick and cheerful service. Varied menu with more than adequate portion size.

Very friendly staff. Attentive and polite. Disappointing selection of vegan options. We always know that the range at a pub will be small but two dishes was all on offer.

Lovely setting. Heard good things about the food but it was disappointing. Had Sunday roast beef and it was cold, everything was under done. I feel that maybe it was rushed through and not quite ready to serve. I like my veg al dente but this was almost raw, I couldn’t get my knife through the cauliflower cheese and the roast potatoes were hard on the inside and barely crispy on the outside. Gravy was nice. Shame as lovely pub and staff were pleasant. I did let the waiting staff know at the start of the meal and the end but there was no effort to put it right or offer a discount they just apologised and said they’d feedback to the kitchen. I wouldn’t rush to go back but I’d like to try it again in the summer months as looks like a lovely place to sit outside in the sunshine.

WOW excellent staff amazing menu and great wine list ????????my wife had sea bass and loved it I don’t usually have a burger but our waitress recommended the signature burger ???? very very tasty Thanks for a great evening

We enjoyed our meal at the swan today. The food is fine for pub food. The staff as usual were very nice and efficient
