Peachy Keens - Nottingham

Wanted to go out for a nice meal with my partner. I decided I wanted to go somewhere semi decent where I have been before. They sat us down then took half a hour to get to us yet everyone else got served as soon as they sat down. Eventually after another half a hour she asked us if we wanted a drink. By then we already decided to go somewhere else. Completely done with this place. Never coming here again. I'm very disappointed.

Drinks are quite expensive. Eat is fantastic! the whole world buffet is great. platz looked pretty tatty when I last went. cracked floor tiles, 1/2 a tile was actually missing near the bar area! but mega cheap. the tables are very closely connected. kitchens are amazing on the live/freshly cooked station in one night. but not available on the day, so it is much cheaper then. always love eating here anyway and that is what counts most:

Don't go towards the end of the lunch time session. Food is running out and barely warm plus the tables and floor are messy. Not the staff's fault, they are understaffed. When we arrived they showed us to a table next to an overflowing bin they scrape the plates into, despite there being lots of room elsewhere. Shame, it used to be great here.

Awful awful Food! It was bland with no taste, cheap ingredients, not fresh, drinks flat and as the sweets picture shows, they just throw fresh food onto old food without even bothering to clean the dishes. Cost over £36 for 2 of us ... got a slight discount for complaining but still cost £27. For that we could have got 3 courses at Pizza Express or something superior, cheaper, elsewhere. If you don't mind awful quality and non fresh food and are there just to eat as much as you can then i guess you could consider it decentish value for money ... but we wished we'd just gone to macdonalds instead!

Food was absolutely awful, everything was dry. Food had been absolutely covered in spice to try and hide the lack of taste. Dead fly in glass. Found what appeared to be a hair in battered chicken ball, manager assured us it was absolutely fine as it was a piece of plastic, not a hair (like that's any better! . Only two of the staff appeared to actually want to be there and look after customers. Manager tried to tell us that everything was prepared and cooked fresh on site, then we watched the chef grab a box of Mccain frozen wedges out of the freezer. Worst part is that this place charges similar prices to Cosmo's, which is far superior! Especially as Cosmo has refillable drinks and much bigger selection of fresh food!
