Restaurant manager made it clear we were an inconvenience and couldn't find our reservation stating that they have stopped using Opentable quite a while ago. We walked out and ate elsewhere.

The food was very good and beautifully presented. The service was also excellent. It felt a little strange to be the only diners in the restaurant. It definitely needs to be promoted as a good value for money venue.

I thought the beer was reasonably priced and the customer service from the bar staff was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I will definitely be returning to this bar.

This is a charming pub, perfect for enjoying a drink with friends. Although not from the area, we always feel warmly welcomed whenever we visit. The pub is continually making improvements, creating a more inviting atmosphere each time we return.

Myself and the rest of the Brighton University Cheerleading squad (26 of us) visited this pub on Saturday afternoon feeling down after seeing the terrible accommodation across the road. We shared our concerns with the landlady, who immediately made us feel welcome. They generously provided us with our own space to relax, watch TV, and enjoy some food. The staff, including the bartender, were all lovely, and the pub itself was clean and modern. They truly made us feel at home and turned our weekend around. We would all highly recommend this place.
