The owner is a mean old boor who doesn't respect tourists. Throws food waste into the sea. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

1 star is still too much and just for the view! The location and the view are actually beautiful. But! -A lot of damage in the rooms. Huge water damage to ceilings and walls. Weak toilet flushing, you had to help with a bucket. -Fittings rotten -Wifi a disaster -A lot of damage to the outdoor area The owner/chef is very aggressive. Since we didn't make the final payment immediately due to the damage, the lock was replaced so we could no longer access the app. came. The pictures must be from shortly after the renovation over 10 years ago. Since then, the property has deteriorated more and more and nothing is being invested in it. Only the young daughter is trying. A pity! This was our worst Croatia vacation. We have never had such an unfriendly landlord. Update September 2020 (We are a few doors away): The owner's bad reputation and aggressive behavior are spreading and are also known to other landlords in Stara Novalja. The bad reviews are also increasing on TripAdvisor. The restaurant is closed in 2020. Otherwise there is total emptiness. I think it will soon be completely closed. Word is slowly getting around about what it's like there...

Wir waren diese Jahr das 3. Mal im Haus. Wir waren jedes Mal sehr zufrieden. Natürlich ist nicht immer alles perfekt, aber wenn man es anspricht, bemühen sich die Gastgeber es sofort zu beheben. Mehr kann ich bei ca. 80 Euro pro Nacht nicht erwarten. Bei uns war das Wlan-Signal diese Jahr sehr schlecht und wir bekamen sofort einen Verstärker zur Verfügung. PERFEKT!Vorauskasse und einbehalten der Pässe sind hier normal, aber kein Problem. Kaution haben wir keine bezahlt.Das Restaurant ist auf Fisch spezialisiert. Dort scheint da Essen super und sehr frisch zu sein. Der Gastgeber fischt noch selbst. Fleischgerichte gibt's nur eins. Daher waren wir nur wenig dort essen.Das Restaurant schliesst um 21.30 somit ist es auch für die Nachtruhe kein Ärgernis. Generell dringt wenig Lautstärke zu den Wohnungen.Also immer wieder gerne!

Leider ist selbst ein Stern zu viel! Beim ersten mal war essen mit Hunden dabei kein Problem.das essen war schlecht, der Service war sehr unfreundlich. Beim zweiten Besuch wurden wir mit den Hunden aus dem komplett leeren Restaurant rausgeschmissen. Wer kein Geld verdienen will hat halt Pech gehabt. Uns sehen sie dort nie wieder.
