Maya Palenque - Novato

The food is amazing and the ambiance is wonderful. The service is consistently fast and welcoming. This restaurant has quickly become my favorite spot, and I will definitely be coming back again.

Today was a challenging day and I stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting from out of town. I was looking for some good food to cheer me up, and I was pleasantly surprised by what I found!

Maya Palenque is a restaurant where discrimination is apparent. When American customers arrive, the staff turn down the volume of the jukebox where they have paid for a song. The waiters only have one thing to say...

It's authentic I've been here a bunch of times including a Cinco de Mayo (they did it up with decorations, a DJ, and door prizes).

I used to be a regular here when some friends lived over in San Rafael, we'd head over for inexpensive drinks and decent eats.
