Genji Japanese Steakhouse Novi

I reserved for my husband birthday took our children with us on a Thursday place was not busy at all. but from last time the experience at this time was really bad! I booked the Teppanyaki table last time that our chef had the conversation with tricks this time to feel terrible as eating here and going!

The servers need to know the difference in the dishes when customers ask as some food was not accurate when ordered. The chef was nice and the food was just okay but I hope that it improves.

Save your money. Service was AWFUL! 2 plus hours watching 4 staff members walking around playing on their phones. Used to be a great place no longer returning

We went here a few years ago and it was fantastic. However, something must have changed because this place has gone really downhill. The parking lot was a mess walking in and the place was empty. It took us forever to get our food and at the end our waitress ignored us when we tried to pay the bill.

90 min. Before the food arrived and that’s with a reservation. 6 tables left around us. The chef was good, but they only do the onion volcano. No egg roll, no tossing food, no squirting, no fire. Took us over 2 hours. Ridiculous.
