The Dog Monocle - Nowra

Just popped in for a drink on the recommendation of a local. We were greeted warmly and were made to feel incredibly welcome. The guy who looked after us was very knowledgeable about their cocktails. Thank you!

My photos definitely do it justice. Loved the menu, which had something for everyone and the cocktails were gorgeous and original. The food was delicious but what really makes this place shine is the staff, they all smiled, made jokes and were very knowledgeable about the beers, cocktails and food. <br/ <br/ The service was fantastic and although there was a large table for a birthday near us, we weren’t over looked and in fact, treated really well. <br/ <br/ The restaurant is beautifully designed and is exacting what the area needed!

I went to Dog Monocle with a group of friends and had a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The ambiance was gorgeous. <br/ Can also visit for a drink too. <br/ Can’t wait to go again. <br/

It is really difficult to have a winner with any dish, it is entree, side or main. These guys did it with ease. You brought out a new menu and everything we ordered was fantastic. The staff was amazing and friendly. The decor was warm and had a fantasy/sci-fi element that was great. It is always wonderful to visit these gems. Thank you.

What a culinary experience! came here with three friends and all enjoyed their meals. Probably the best meal I had with every dish delicious all month in his own way. I had the cattle cheek and it came with Brussels sprouts I never enjoyed this vegetables so much! Beautiful amount of meat and veg that was worth the price. My friends had the pig bell and the lamb and after trying a little of each of their dishes I would have been equally satisfied with one of these decisions. The drinks are also delicious, we ordered cocktails and I really enjoyed my Apple Pie. Service is top notch and the decor in the restaurant is so cool!
