Old Brickworks Brasserie At Potters Hunter Valley

For a place I've heard so much about, I'm left feeling underwhelmed. The food was reasonably priced for the portion sizes, but it wasn’t anything special. It’s the same kind of meal you can find elsewhere.

I waited 80 minutes for my food and when I asked about it, I was told my order might be thrown away. Aside from that one person, the service was great. However, the wait was just too long.

Home of Hunter Co's locally brewed beer! It's a fantastic spot for lunch, and the motel offers affordable rooms along with delicious food. Why not make a stop here?

The restaurant at Potters Hotel is yet another reason why I adore the Hunter Valley. As soon as I arrived, I was filled with a wave of nostalgia, recalling my teenage visits to the area with my aunt and uncle years ago. The enchanting atmosphere made me feel as if the romantic tales from my Mills & Boon novels had come to life.

What a fantastic discovery! The food was incredibly delicious, and the chef was very accommodating, preparing a vegan and gluten-free meal for me. The staff were extremely friendly and recommended the ginger and chili beer, which was absolutely amazing! It's a pity we couldn't purchase any to take home, but they mentioned that it will be available for sale next year. The atmosphere is very family-friendly, with lovely decor and options to dine inside the restaurant (sorry, no picture!) or enjoy the beer garden. I highly recommend it for beer lovers looking to try something new, or anyone simply wanting a drink at a nice pub and a great meal!
