Super, quiet and cozy. How I would best describe Trout Valley. Located on the outskirts of Nyeri, the road that leads there is almost completely tarmaced. Once there, the friendly staff will guide you how to fish (if you want) your meal. Since meals are prepared on request, you can expect some delays in service, but in the meantime you can (and should) enjoy the blissful ambience along the river. The steps leading to the ponds can be quite steep for older people and some young people, but there are sheds not too far from the entrance where such people can enjoy their meals. 5/5 would recommend.

Top brands for setting! This place is located in an exquisite location. You will find it at the bottom of a valley overlooked by two steep mountain ridges.. It is as peaceful as unrealistic. You need a 4X4 to get to the parking lot, otherwise you leave your car on the main road and go down. There are two pavilions in front of the clear river Chania, which make for a wonderful retreat. I may describe the restaurant itself as a rustic, and the food. Well, there's work there to do. An interior designer and a good cook would take this place to the next level. The trout (which you can catch yourself) is unfortunately strongly fried and only available w chips and (fried) cabbage. Really great potential here, in the need of some DC.
