Johnny's Pizza House - Oak Grove

We had two large pizzas cooked fresh. We did not eat the buffet. It was not the best pizza but it was good. I'll be back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Pizza

Johnny's makes great pizza and their lunch Buffet has a very good selection, but their quality varies some from location to location. My preference for the Best, is the Bastrop location, but Oak Grove is very good. There are some issues however. Todayat lunch I observed an employee wearing a black Johnnys shirt and a black face mask, preparing pizza dough with their barehands. While preparing the dough flattening it out on a pan with their fingers and palms), this individual was called to theregister to unlock it for the cashier. The individual touched the keypad several times with their bare hands and took my order,then went back to preparing the pizza dough bare handed without washing their hands or putting on gloves. I didnot want to eatpizza after observing this and I ate the spaghetti. There is definitely a need for some Hygiene training !

Food was really good, but there was only one person working front of house, so they were stretched too thin.

Best Johnny's I have ever eaten at. Pizza was superb. Absolutely best Johnny's anywhere, hands down.
