El Chavis Taquizas - Oak Lawn

Whenever I order for pickup, they always get my order wrong. They never include utensils in the bag and often forget the extra food I've paid for. The service is really poor, and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant!

Delicious Mexican cuisine and excellent service. They also have convenient hours.

The taco meat was lacking in flavor and quite bland. Unfortunately, the cheese fries were soggy and tasteless as well.

A fly flew in our tortilla chips. The server stuck his hand in it, tried to grab it, and was going to leave the chips there. We had to ask for a new one!! Now, just imagine if we didn't see him nasty little server

Decor is bright and lovely, they have an extensive and very authentic variety of traditional mexican dishes, flavored and prepared to delicious perfection. My wife had a torta al pastor. I had three tacos, which were a taco al pastor, a taco de lengua (both topped with diced cilantro and white onion), and the restaurant chain special taco, the taco el chavis, which is carne asada, chorizo, and pinto beans (this is the taco in the picture I provided).Kid-friendliness: There also is a nice selection of ice cream and paletas for kids (and adults) to choose from.
