Oka Japanese - Oakhurst

Our favorite sushi place in town! The service is always friendly, and the food is consistently fresh, delicious, and satisfying. We relocated from the Santa Barbara area and have truly enjoyed discovering this gem.

The fried rice with chicken was extremely dry and unappetizing. The teriyaki chicken bowl had the flavor of a cheap frozen meal. They simply dumped the sauce on without any finesse.

I visited the restaurant quite late, just an hour before closing, and they still made incredible reels. It was fantastic! I always enjoy this place, although I tend to order the same thing each time.

I've only had positive experiences here so far. You can customize any sushi roll, and I particularly love the Rainbow roll with spicy tuna in the center. Delicious!
