Wings Plus - Oakland Park

One thing I appreciate is that Wings Plus is always bustling with customers, yet I've never had to wait too long for a table. The last time we visited, our server, Marvette, was amazing. Despite the place being packed, she consistently checked in on us, which I truly appreciated. My go-to order is ten wings, fried hard, with Key West sauce. It’s the perfect balance of slightly sweet, slightly tangy, and just a bit spicy. This time, I added garlic to the mix, and it made it even better! They also serve some of the best blue cheese around. My mom ordered ten wings as well, half with Key West sauce and half with garlic parmesan. A little tip: if you order your wings extra crispy, they’ll bring them to your table right after frying to make sure you’re satisfied with the crunchiness. We always start with curly fries as an appetizer—definitely try them with ketchup and white vinegar; they’re delicious! We also love the fried mushrooms, which come with a horseradish sauce. They’re crispy on the outside and have juicy mushrooms inside. For two ten-piece wing orders, fries, mushrooms, and two drinks, our total bill was $52.70. That’s a great deal, especially considering how pricey wings can be these days, and their wing portions are generous! If you're in the area, make sure to stop by Wings Plus and grab an order of Key West wings and curly fries. You won’t regret it!

This is, without a doubt, the best wing place I have ever been to. I drive all the way from East Hollywood just to enjoy their wings! My personal favorite is the Flavor HOT with Catskill garlic, paired with their seasoned curly fries. The staff are always friendly, so I give them 5 stars!

Wings here are quite good. You don 't have to ask them to cook the wings extra crispy as they normally cook them crispy. I always ask for mild/medium sauce on the Buffalo wings as I find it has the perfect amount of spicy kick for me. Blue cheese has too many poppy seeds in it and a bit too strong tasting. The environment here is unfortunately pretty sad. Customer service could be much better from the lady and guy running this place. Any issue is usually met with them not doing much for you. As an example, one time when ordering wings, 90% of our order had flats instead of the approximately 50/50 split of flats and drums you typically get at restaurants. Shockingly, I had to discuss this at length with the guy running the place who kept saying there 's no guarantee of the ratio and suggested I pay the extra money and get one order of all drums and then pay extra again on a second order of all flats. Really?...all I wanted was a few extra drums to try and even it out a bit, and he said we will be losing money! if he did that. Oh brother. The ventilation in here needs to be much better as it has a strong smell of cooked wings everywhere. The whole inside of this place really needs to reworked. It just feels too old. They need to spend some money on renovations. Make the customer more comfortable and you 'll get a lot more respect, and business. Also, the place is usually freezing cold inside, so bring a sweater.

Stopped by for lunch and the wings were GREAT. I asked for minced garlic and Parmesan cheese with medium sauce instead of the creamy garlic parm sauce. Wow. I'll definitely be coming back to this location when I'm the area!

I wanted some good wings while I was in town a few days. Asked for some suggestions and wings plus kept getting mentioned. No idea if there is a connection between stores as you will find a few with the name. Chose this spot as it was the closest to me. I am a basic person with wings. I just usually like medium or hot, not into all the other options. Ordered 15 medium and asked if they could make them extra crispy. A short time late the waitress came out with wings in a dish and asked were they cooked enough before the toss the sauce on. I thought this was a great idea. She told me they do this because sometimes people who want extra crispy then complain they were over cooked. The wings are nice sized and not tiny you get on some places. The medium sauce had a kick To it too. Love they have the option of you want to spend a little more and get all drums or all flats. Personally I didn't care myself but know some do Loved the place had a local feel to it with all the local sports memorabilia on the wall and sports on the tv. The staff worked hard from what I could see. The place is in this little strip mall you can easily overlook. Already told my buddy we will be stopping in when back when back in Florida in 7 weeks The prices are also very fair with the costs of wings these days
