Írjon visszajelzéstAlthough we've been to Ace's bar twice in the past six years, we had never dined there until last night. It was a rainy and chilly Labor Day Monday at around 5:15 PM, and we were quickly welcomed at a window-side table. On warmer, sunny days, they offer about eight umbrella-covered tables on the deck that overlook the lake. For chilly or rainy weather, the restaurant features a wall of windows, allowing you to still take in the lake view while dining indoors. The menu has a wide variety of options, and there are plenty of add-ons to customize your salads or entrees. I opted for a Caesar salad with anchovies, as a proper Caesar should have them. For my main dish, I chose the Atlantic Salmon burger, which was quite substantial and piled high with toppings. Instead of the usual pub chips, I went for tater tots. They offer both craft beer and wine, and I enjoyed a local West Virginia IPA. My husband had a BLT wedge (salads are available in small and large sizes) and a crab cake sandwich with fries. Everything was delicious, and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be returning!
I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant, thanks in large part to our waitress, Anna. She was incredibly sweet, understanding, and attentive, making sure to accommodate my allergies and remember every detail flawlessly. I also appreciated how quick the service was—there were no long waits at all, which speaks volumes about the kitchen staff as well. The view was stunning, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. I tried both the Ace burger and the blackened chicken, and they were both delicious. I also loved that they offered Cheerwine! Overall, I had an amazing time and Anna definitely earned a 50% tip!
What a fantastic find! The patio area was spacious and well-maintained, offering beautiful views. The menu was easy to navigate, featuring a variety of salads, sandwiches, and creative main dishes. The portion sizes were generous across the board. The spiced Ahi tuna was especially refreshing and innovative. The burgers, Reuben, and fish sandwich also received high praise. There was a great selection of local beers, cocktails, and wines. Our server, Katrina, was not only well-informed about the menu but also brought a bright, cheerful presence to our experience.
We have been here many times as this is one of the best restaurants in deep creek. The crab pretzel for the appetizer is great. Tuna tacos....yum! Affogato was the best!
Came here yesterday with a group of 7. We didn't need reservations but it was a Tuesday night. We would have preferred to sit outside to get the water view but the only two tables available were not together. They had plenty of great indoor seating which was nice too. Everyone was happy with their meals, even with a difficult to satisfy group. The service was great, as was the food. Kids ate mini sliders, Mac and Cheese, chicken tenders. I had the Blackened Pork Chop (excellent), husband had Shepherd's Pie (could have used a little more gravy but still good), adult friends had plain burger and crab cake entree. We also had the pretzel crab dip. It was very good too but beware that the crab dip is served on top of the pretzel, not a separate dip. I only mention it because the kids wanted the pretzel, which they ended up not touching, but left more for us! Lol
