Chile Jalapeño Taquería - Oakland

Best burrito I’ve had in years! The meat was perfectly cooked. The chili verde sauce was abundant without being overwhelming. The patio is cute yet no-frills. Street noise is not too bad when seated in the back but it can get loud on the side of the building. Service is fast and friendly.

Abel, who is usually at the front, always has a fantastic attitude and clearly enjoys being there. I appreciate that we can chat while I wait for the incredible food to be prepared. My go-to order is the 510 wrap, and I always add papa con chorizo.

Great menu, classic old-school Mexican food. My main complaint is the self-serve water. It’s outside temperature, no ice. “The free water is outside.” A big negative to an otherwise great restaurant.

Cozy taqueria with reasonable prices. The burrito, however, was a bit dry towards the end of the day.

Generous portions, extremely friendly staff, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious! I enjoyed one of the best quesadillas I've ever had. Just a heads up—sometimes their hours on Google aren't up-to-date, so it might be a good idea to call ahead.
