Louisiana Fried Chicken - Oakland

Absolutely delicious! I tried the chicken strips and fish dinners, and both were freshly made, perfectly seasoned, and served in generous portions. Even the cornbread was impressive—large, individually wrapped, and warm.

The food was quite good, with generous portions. The wings were enormous—almost intimidating! However, there was way too much salt on the mac and cheese.

The food is consistently made to order and always fresh. It leans towards being on the spicier side and is heavily seasoned, which I personally enjoy. Some dishes may come a bit under-seasoned, so it’s a good idea to have your own spices available. The desserts are excellent!

I ordered the fish and chicken strips, but both were overcooked and dry. I specifically requested them to be slightly crispy. The staff was reluctant to accommodate my request for a refund. I would have considered ordering something else, but the interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. The flavors were good; they just needed better cooking.
