Írjon visszajelzéstWhat I like best at North Beach Deli is how attentive this place is. The menu proudly offers a good number of keto options, including one of the regular offers served in a lower carb wrap. It is clean, bright and close to all shops in downtown Oakland and Frank Ogawa Plaza. The fact that it is filled in a food dish with high-carbide food makes the lunch time down here all the more pleasant.
This place was fine the first few times I went and the quality of the sandwich has gone down after repeated visits. I ordered a turkey on wheat, no mayo yesterday. The service and speed are ok, but the bread really needs some work. The sandwich was hard and dry. I knew it was gonna be bad when I got the bag and it was hard as a rock. The first few visits the bread was ok. Not the best, but at least edible. Yesterday I struggled to get through it and ended up opening the sandwich to piece it together onto the edible half of the sandwich. It's gotten progressively worse the last few visits. Looks like I'm going to be skipping this spot for a whiles.
Delicious sandwiches with fresh ingredients, awesome customer service and great price for very generous portion! I recommend their Turkey sandwich ,it's very tasty and fresh and also i recommend their sourdough bread.
This place is amazing! Their customer service is out of this world! I order from them on a weekly basis for my catering needs and they always deliver quality, fresh, and great tasting food. On time. I especially love their Italian Wedding sandwich.
Time: 2:37pm/52°F clear What: North Beach Deli second location is set to be open on MLK Day. Aside from this location, they also have the original location on Jackson st. Where: NBD is located on the ground level of City Center 12th St Bart station promonade. The shop is nestle between Radio Shack and La Salsa replacing the former Fresh Fuel spot. Why: Because its not just a sandwich shop out of the blues. These are experienced sandwich makers at work that knows how a sandwich suppose to be and whats expected. What to get: North Beach Turkey and Godfather. What to expect: Depending when you go, the place could be packed with lunchtime office workers. What you'll see is a no frills sandwich shop with friendly smiling workers eagerly waiting for your order. Since its their first day there wasn't anything out of the ordinary as far as sanitation goes. The place is strictly to-go, but theres one table tucked in corner for two people. Sando are packed solid with three choice of bread: whole wheat, sourdough, or french. Basically you can go with one of their listed sando or a DIY including making sando a wrap version. My sandwicheez was really good. Thick slices of mozzarella and deli thin slices of turkey stands out. The bread never ever tasted dry or brittle as pesto were evenly spread on top and bottom of roll. Turkey slices tasted a bit too salty and briny. To wash it down, they gave me a large drink of choice on the house. Who doesn't want freebies right lol? Punchlines: New, friendly staff, efficient, experienced, limited seating, public transportation hub, self-service soda fountain, under $10 sando (including signature series), drool-worthy, happening, no combo deals, no gluten free options, low carb available. Final Thoughts: Well, it's like this. I've had better, but for the area and its surrounding this will do. Sando is worthy of its weight and size, but meat seems to be the issue. It's not the baked in-house version, its processed soaked in liquid sodium to prevent drying out. Again, its a notch or two better than Subway, but falls within that category as well.
