Otaez - Oakland

The burrito was enormous and absolutely delicious. I really appreciate that this restaurant took the time to read and fulfill my special request. They also offered a generous amount of salsa, which is often not the case at many Mexican and Latin restaurants. Overall, it was a fantastic value!

Otaez offers the best Mexican food in Oakland. I always order the red pork tamales à la carte, and they remind me of how my grandmother used to make them. I also get a side of beans and rice, which are delicious and provide enough for at least two additional meals. They keep me satisfied for lunch, dinner, and even late-night snacks. I highly recommend trying them out!

Blandest Mexican food ever, my white MIL even said it had no taste. Good if you load up on the hot sauce

I was exciting to see they have daily specials. The Costillas en salsa verde con nopales (Mondays ONLY) was so flavorful with just the right amount of spice. Served with refried beans and Mexican rice and almost forgot the handmade tortillas. 10/10 would recommend.
