Harvey's - Oakville

The restaurant was very clean, the bathrooms were tidy and smelled great. The customer service was top tier.

This combo Harvey's and Swiss is totally walkable from the neighbouring Oakville Go Station. There are a lot of other options like curbside, take-out, and full service dine-in in the Swiss Chalet area. The interior is much like any other Swiss out there.I came after work on a weekday. Seating was pretty much open choice but they did clump all the patrons together so it was a little livelier. I wonder if they tend to cater to commuters because they did have a few TVs with CP24 playing which I usually only see at the bars.Our waitress was really friendly and timed her visits to the table really well so we were always checked up on. I was also ordering a takeaway meal and she lined it up so that we got that food right before we left.The meal was really satisfying. If you're eating in, definitely get the poutine as a side if that's an option for your entree. It's a huge portion and their gravy works so well with the cheese curds. Alternatively you can also get the poutine with their famous Chalet sauce!

The meat was already cooked and on standby. Our order was ready in thirty seconds. I was expecting fresh patties. We ordered bacon on the burgers and got only one tiny slice each. Onion rings and fries were good.
