Sur le détour d'une balade en forêt, nous sommes tombés par hasard sur cet établissement et nous avons été enchantés. Ambiance rustique, une carte simple, un accueil sympathique... tout ce que nous avions besoin pour nous restaurer simplement un dimanche en début d'après-midi.

Wir kamen nach einer Wanderung (24.05.15) eher zufällig recht hungrig in dieses Gasthaus.Dazu gilt es dann gleich anzumerken, dass sich die Küche eigentlich noch in der Mittagspause befand.Auf unsere Frage hin, ob wir dennoch speisen könnten wurden dies bejaht und wir freundlich hereingebeten.Aufgrund der zuvor erwähnten Wanderung suchte ich zunächst einmal die Toiletten auf. Was auf den ersten Blick (optisch) noch recht in die Jahre gekommen aussah, erwies sich aber als sauber und mit moderner Technik (Sensoren) ausgestattet und gepflegt.Während der Wartezeit auf die Bestellung blieb Zeit die Einrichtung des Gastraumes zu betrachten. Und genauso stellt man sich halt eine urige Dorfgaststätte im Schwarzwald vor. Nicht aber dass es sich dunkel und finster empfand.Das Mobiliar zwar rustikal aber ebenso gepflegt und wertig. Der Gastraum mit viel Liebe zum Detail dekoriert. Ist zwar Geschmackssache aber zum Glück ohne diese alten Jagdromantik-Bilder oder gar derer Trophäen an den Wänden. Natürlich in einer Ecke des Raumes eine kleine Chistusstatue an der Wand, was aber für mich eher den kulturellen/traditionalen Charakter der Region unterstreicht. Alles in allem jedoch sauber hell und freundlich.Unsere Bestellung wurde dann schnell und freundlich aufgenommen. Die Speisekarte bietet genau das, was den Erwartungen entspricht. Dazu gab es dann noch der Jahreszeit entsprechend eine Saisonkarte mit Spargelgerichten.Wir entschieden und für das Klassische Schnitzel (Wiener Art), "Zigeunerschnitzel", Käsespätzle und 1/2 Hähnchen. Dazu die obligatorischen Pommes Frites und Salat.Die Wartezeit war entsprechend kurz (zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch die einzigen Gäste).Die Speisen selber entsprachen ebenso den Vorstellungen.Der vorweg gereichte, kleine gemischte Salat erwies sich dabei als sehr frisch, wenngleich Karotten und Sellerie nach Fertigsalat wirkten.Das Zigeunerschnitzel -naturell gebraten mit der typischen Sauce aus Gurken, Paprika Zwiebeln und Sellerie Stiften (Konserve) aber nicht in Tomatenketchup ertränkt.Das Schnitzel Wiener Art und auch das 1/2 Hähnchen frittiert. Den Pommes fehlte es an Salz, welches jedoch auf dem Tisch bereit stand. Dazu wurden sie jedoch in großzügig bemessenen Portionen bereitgestellt.Als kleines Manko möchte ich noch feststellen, das die Käsespätzle an einer Bratensoße gereicht wurden, was aber aus der Karte nicht hervorging. Das könnte einen Vegetarier vor Überraschungen stellen. Auch bei dieser Soße, lässt sich der Griff zum Fertigprodukten nicht leugnen.Inzwischen hatte sich der Raum auch mit weiteren Gästen deutlich gefüllt.Unserem Tisch wurde aber weiter entsprechende freundliche Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt. Die zu Neige gehenden Getränke wurden bemerkt und entsprechend, freundlich nach weiteren Wünschen angefragt.Auch vor begleichen der Rechnung wurde sich noch einmal freundlich erkundigt, ob wir eventuell noch einen Kaffee wünschen.Die Preise sind entsprechend dem gebotenem, auf erfreulicherweise moderatem Niveau.Für den aufmerksamen Service und die freundliche Art als Gast empfangen worden zu sein (auch als die Gaststube sich weiter gefüllt hatte, bot man uns nach der Rechnung an, gerne länger verweilen zu dürfen) geben wir ein Extra Plus.Fazit:Für den hungrigen Wanderer der preiswerte und typische Hausmannskost essen möchte, kann ich also meine Empfehlung aussprechen. Ein wenig Abzug gibt es für die verwendeten Fertigprodukte, aber generell waren die gebotenen Speisen gut. Und es bleibt ja noch die Saisonkarte.Bei der Präsentation bleiben Sauberkeit sowie Freundlichkeit in Erinnerung und lassen sich vermutlich auch ebenso auf das Hauseigene Gastronomie-Angebot für Feierlichkeiten übertragen.

After a walk (24.05.15) we accidentally came quite hungry into this gas house. it should be noted that the kitchen was still in the lunch break. to our question whether we were able to feed this, was followed and we kindly encouraged. because of the above mentioned migration I first sought the toilets. what was still looked at in the first sight (optically) in the years, but has proved to be clean and equipped with modern technology (sensors) and well maintained. during the waiting period for the order, it was time to look at the decor of the dining room, and a rustic village restaurant in the black forest was also presented. not that it felt dark and dark. the furniture, although rustic, but also well maintained and worthy. the dining room with a lot of love to detail furnished. is a taste, but for the happiness without these old jagd romantic pictures or even these trophes on the walls. of course, in a corner of the room, a small Chistus statue on the wall, but for me this emphasizes the cultural/traditional character of the region. all in all but clean bright and friendly. our order was received quickly and friendly. the menu offers exactly what matches expectations. In addition, there was a season map with savings dishes in the course of the year. we decided and for the classic carving (wiener art,) zigeunerschnitzel , käsespätzle and 1/2 huhn. the obligatory pommes frites and salat. the waiting period was accordingly short (at this time the only guests.) the meals themselves corresponded to the presets. the predominant, small mixed salate proved to be very fresh, although carrots and celery after finished salate. the gypsy carving -naturell rides with the typical sauce of gurken, paprika wobbles and sellerie (conserved,) but not drowned in tomatenketchup. the carving of a white art and also the 1/2 huh. the pommes lacked salt, but that was ready on the table. for this they were provided in generously dimensioned portions. as a small manko I want to find out that the beetles were placed on a frying sauce, but that did not come out of the map. that could put a vegetarian before the surprise. also with this sauce, the handle to the finished product cannot be denied. in the meantime the room had also filled with other guests. our table was given further appropriate attention. the ordinary walking drinks were noticed and correspondingly, kindly asked for more. even before the bill was cleared, we were asked again if we wanted a coffee. the prices are according to the offered, at a pleasantly moderate level. For the attentive service and the friendly art as hospitable (even if the gaststube was further filled, we were offered after the bill to stay longer) we give an additional plus. Conclusion: for the hungry hiker, the inexpensive and typical home cooking would like to eat, I therefore recommend. there is a little to go used for the finished products, but in general the food offered were good and there is still the season map. remain during presentation, cleanliness and lightness of remembrance and will probably be transferred to the in-house gastronomy offer for companies.
