Charming B&B in the quiet little town of Oberlin. Staying here for a week while I am in town on business. The rooms are clean and neat, the owner is just the most accommodating guy. I have a food allergy (GF) and turns out so does he! Breakfast was superb every morning and lunch too. Don't leave here without trying the butter pecan sauce on a sundae- so delicious. Bed is comfy and everyone in this town is so friendly!!
I had the pleasure of staying here a few years back during a road trip, and I must say, the lodgings and restaurant are true gems in the small town of Oberlin. The food at the restaurant is absolutely delightful—fresh and made with care and passion. As a devoted foodie and cook myself, I was so impressed that I couldn't resist buying the book *Classic Cuisine from the Inn: The Best of the Teller Room Restaurant: The Landmark Inn at the Historic Bank of Oberlin*. It has become a cherished keepsake, filled with beautiful photos, history, and delicious regional recipes. The service was warm and friendly, making me feel right at home. The accommodations were pristine and adorned with antiques from the 1880s, reflecting the era when the bank was established. I am truly grateful that the Oberlin community has managed to preserve this significant piece of its history. I hope to return someday.
The best place to eat in town! The food is delicious, the presentation is outstanding, and the ambiance is delightful. It's located in a beautifully restored building that used to be the town bank back in 1886. We also stayed overnight in a room that was exquisitely decorated in a Victorian style. The owner, Gary, has lovingly restored both the building and the rooms without sparing any expense. This place is definitely worth a visit!
I had a fantastic experience at the Landmark Inn. Each room has its own unique charm, adorned with antique furniture. Every morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast. I also loved exploring the small town of Oberlin, where everyone was incredibly friendly. I definitely recommend the Landmark Inn! Just a tip: I stayed in the Judge's Chambers room, and I noticed that the streetlights shone through the blinds. It didn't bother me, but if you prefer a completely dark room for sleeping, you might want to consider a different option. Additionally, the building is quite spacious! You should let the water run for about 5 minutes to get hot water for your shower, but rest assured, it will get hot eventually, LOL.
