Gg's Heavenly Soul Food - Ocala

My husband found this hidden jewel and wanted a good South Home cookery and wanted to check it out. All I can say is WOW! I had fried steak with mash. A engraving with Mac-n-chz and my God.. my husband had the fried pork stall with green beans (and bacon mixed in) with fried okra and a side roll. It was sooooo good! To make everything from the Dino, my husband saw that they had a Lil refrigerator in the dinning area and inside were all desserts and they have the best banana pudding! They use a cookie instead of the Nilla pieces that use most places and they have it on point.. many other things to choose as well! The staff/family that helped us while we were there were super friendly and welcoming and it made that South Home cooking feel and taste so much better! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back soon!

This is food is soooooo good!!! The staff is real nice and friendly too. Did I mention how delicous the food tastes? It's perfectly seasoned. Everything is at the right temperature for you to enjoy it immediately without burning your tongue. The mashed potatoes is the perfect consistency to melt in your mouth as it integrates with the subtlety seasoned gravy. The cornbread tastes like my Grandma made it! And it's real cheese binding the macaroni together. 10/10 definitely recommend??

If you haven't stopped by...go! If you are thinking of going...Go!! We haven't had this level of good home cooking in a restaurant in eons! The fried catfish is SO awesome! Fried pork ribs anyone? Go for it! The slaw, baked beans, macNcheese and the fried okra.... All incredible. The sweet tea is sweet and fresh. The folks there are warm, friendly, comforting and laughing...this is a very good vibing place!! Two words- HEAVENLY and AMAZING!!! GO!!!!!

Excellent. I just have praise for the fried chicken dinner I just had. The chicken was the best in Marion county, the Mac and cheese was divine, and the field of peas were from this world! The ladies are sweet like cakes, the portions are big, and the food is fantastic! I'll be a very frequent flyer!
