Pedro's Tacos - Oceanside

This is hard to write a negative review because the burritos CAN be SO good and fresh and generously made. But 2 major bad food incidences from the drive thru and I think I sadly have to tap out to make sure I don 't get sick from here. 1st one a couple of years back was the bean and cheese burrito 's tortilla had gone rancid. I could smell it in the bag as I was already driving home. When I took it out, sure enough, that familiar rancid smell wafted off of it. I called them and he said Oh, just let us know next time and we 'll give you a free one . Great, except I live an hour and a half away and don 't get out there more than once every couple of months. That was $8 lost. Today 's bad food incident takes the cake. My chicken fajita burrito was on point, as it usually is. Fresh, hot, generous in size. But the shredded chicken burrito had to have been a deliberate action as there is NO WAY they threw this into my bag not knowing it was COLD, that it was LESS THAN HALF the size of what it should have been and was almost ALL tortilla, and SO CRUSTY OLD that I couldn 't even bite through the tortilla!!! Opened it up in the car while driving home and the shredded chicken was cold and OLD. Just NASTY. Look at the picture, this might have even been in the trash for all I know!? I am not exaggerating on any of my comments here, the shredded chicken burrito was absolutely FOUL OLD, and there is NO WAY they didn 't know it. That is now another $8 lost. Almost $20 in the toilet due to incompetency or whatever their problem is.

Without a doubt, this was the worst burrito I've ever had. It was excessively greasy and only half the size of what competing restaurants offer, yet still priced the same. The small amount of carne asada was rubbery, and they filled the remainder with an overwhelming amount of pico de gallo and cabbage. I would really suggest improving the quality.

I placed my second online order on the Door Dash App for Pedro’s Tacos. My order was the 2 Cod Fish Soft Double Rolled Tacos in flour tortillas with 2 lightly breaded tender fish tacos and pio pico salsa, shredded cabbage with a white creamy sauce and cilantro. These 2 Fish Tacos are one of the best fish tacos I have eaten they are very good and delicious! These Cod Fish Tacos included Rice and Re-Fried Pinto Beans with melted cheese. These beans and the rice in this Fish Tacos Combo Plate was very tasty. My beverage was the one Orange Bang . It was very good it tastes like a orange ice cream bar. It has a delicious orange flavor. My dessert was one Double Chocolate Chip Cookie. This cookie was very yummy and full of big chocolate chips. The cookie was soft baked. Everything I ate was very delicious! The Door Dash delivery driver gave me excellent customer service and my food order arrive on time.

Was stuck at the light on Benet 76 today and saw the breakfast burrito served all day sign, so I swung by the drive thru. What a great idea that turned out to be! The thing was stuffed and piping hot. Inside were rancho style beans, eggs, bacon, cheese and a hash brown. Topped off with some of their spicy hot sauce. OMG ? Amazing!Food: 5/5

The restaurant seems to take its customers for granted, and it feels like speaking English is optional for the staff. The service is quite poor, and I’m not pleased with my experience. The staff member even whistled at me to pick up my food from the drive-thru window, which I found very unprofessional. I really hope that Rob is no longer working there. I won't be returning.
