Q A Restaurant Oyster Bar - Oceanside

Fun, clean, laid-back atmosphere with amazing drinks and the best oysters!

This place is more of a regular bar than an oyster bar , although they do offer a variety of oysters. The oyster Rockefeller we ordered was a bit on the salty side for my taste. The catfish poboy sandwich... hmm, the fish was a very thin slice for the price. The rice for the gumbo was too hard. The Q&A game was cool if you choose to participate.

This was our first visit to Q A. we went for happy hour and absolutely loved everything from our drinks to our food. I particularly loved their chicken and sausage gumbo. Great vibe. We will definitely be coming back.

The oysters were really the best part about this place. Our service was so-so and I generally wouldn’t say anything but our server messed up drinks and food items came out at scattered times and a few items were incorrect. Overall, there’s better places to try in Oceanside but this place would be worth a stop for a drink and oysters.
