Rosewood Kitchen - Oceanside

I ordered the Garlic Noodles with Chicken Katsu. While the dish had great flavor, it was just average overall. However, the garlic edamame and brussel sprout appetizers were fantastic. The live music was quite intense for a dinner atmosphere; I can't speak for everyone, but I think the combination of Flamenco music with Heavy Metal is a bit overwhelming during a meal. On a positive note, the customer service was good.

This restaurant truly excels when it comes to Brussels sprouts; they were so delicious that we didn't even take a photo! We also tried the garlic noodles with katsu, which I wished would never end. The live music created an ideal atmosphere for a date night. They offer a great selection of beers on tap, and the red sangria I had was light and refreshing. We highly recommend visiting this place if you're in the area!

The Juicy Lucy burger was excellent—just the right size, not overly large, and cooked to perfection. The service was friendly, the music was enjoyable, the lighting was inviting, and the decor was unique. I highly recommend this place!

We had been wanting to try this place since moving to Oceanside a year ago and finally went last week but it was a letdown. We ordered 2 appetizers, the carpaccio and the croquettas I can't speak to the carpaccio but the croquettas lacked any kind of flavor and just tasted like dough balls. The service was extremely slow too and there were only 5 or so tables occupied. It was about 25 minutes to get drinks and nearly double that for the 2 apps.

I have no idea if they had a different cook or what in the world happened, but I went about a month ago and the food was good, portions were nice. The service did take over an hour but the good food made it worth the while.On this second visit, I was beyond disappointed. I won’t return. The wait time was 1hr and 30 mins for our food. Ordered the same thing as last time but the portion was not even half of what it was the first time. Our appetizer took 40 mins and was burnt. This staff said they were serving 3 restaurants from one kitchen so that’s why they took forever. The waitress never checked up on us or offered us more drinks.Overall, I was super bummed with the food quality, portion and service time. The first visit I ordered the bacon carbonara. You can see in the photo that it was big and beautiful. The photo with the single plate was my second visit. They looked like two completely different dishes.I’m kinda bummed this second visit was such a bad experience because I really liked the food the last time. I wouldn’t give them another chance.
