1718 Brewing Ocracoke

Love the milk jam! Love this place! The craftsmanship and patients who went to the building in this place are the same that Garrick broke into his beer! It is worth the trip!!

Very happy to find this place on Ocracoke. We have been coming to the island for years and have seen that many places come and go. The 1718 fires on all cylinders: Great location, great food, delicious (and cold, note, Howards... Beer and friendly service. The 1718 definitely goes into our rotation with Zillys and The Jolly Roger. Can't wait for our next visit!

We came to the last commemorative day to taste some of the beers here. Unfortunately, the brewery has not yet been opened. When we ridden our bikes, we realized that someone was working inside so we dived to see when the opening was. We were greeted by the owner who invited us, gave us a tour and a taste of his special beer he made for his niece wedding. definitely worth the ride to The Island

I currently live in Waynesboro Virginia, which happens to be the home of some of the best beer I have ever had (Basic City Beer Co. and I was pleasantly surprised to find this oasis while on Ocracoke! There is a good variety of beer to choose from and the beers I tend to enjoy, IPAs and stouts, the taste is right there with my favorites from Basic City which is saying a lot!
