Kwok - Odder

We saw the buffet sign and pulled up. Online it said they open at 3pm so we left at 3.30am We received a very abrupt and unwelcome greeting and felt like they were closed or we were in the wrong place. She explained the buffet would be ready in half an hour. We said it wasn't a problem could we sit down and have a drink k first. She agreed and let us stand there until I asked where we could sit. We only have 'yes'. We asked if we could have some hard hitting crackers while we waited, the 4 tries and I found some in a bowl to show (that's not her fault, it's mine for not speaking Danish,) but she does said: "You must order". Yes, I'm trying. We were served den from that bowl that had been there for a long time! After a bite, we put the plate on the bar and said we're leaving. She said we had to pay...for the one bite of Stale Prawn Cracker?! I do not believe that! We won't be back.

We visited the restaurant on a Friday night a choice of the a la carte menu as opposed to the buffet which looked tired and the food seemed to have been out for a while. However, we noticed during our meal that most of our portions came from the buffet anyway. The food lacked taste, flavor and was poorly presented. The service was bad and a bit slow. Overall the relaxing experience for us was not something we would repeat and that was poor value for money.

Skønt sted. Vi besøger det ofte og nyder at spise aftensmad her, selvom vi kører langvejs fra Skanderborg. Maden er virkelig lækker og smager altid godt - ikke for at være negativ, men der er garanti for gode retter.

Jeg havde en fantastisk fødselsdag her! Maden var frisk, smukt præsenteret og lækre retter. Jeg kan ikke huske, hvornår jeg sidst har fået bedre sushi, og betjeningen var rigtig god.
