I was at the hotel across the street all week for work wanted to eat here but it closed at 6pm before I even got off work could shower and change to eat. Who closes a burger place at 6pm?!

Always a great hamburger. Handmade patty and real, thick bacon.

We went here for the first time. It was around 11 AM. We ordered bacon cheeseburgers with curly fries, and banana pudding. The service was good, but we were sadly disappointed in the food. The burger was dry and flavorless. The toppings and condiments were skimpy. What little lettuce was in the burger tasted like it had been left uncovered in the fridge overnight. Nothing had any flavor, not the burger, not the fries, not the banana pudding. I've seen all kinds of good reviews regarding their food. That's one of the reasons we came here. So I don't understand why the quality of good was so bad on this particular day.

The staff seem friendly and happy they must eat someplace else.The atmosphere is nice, but sets a high standard that is far from being met.There is a banner on the wall The Best of the Permian Basin from 2017. I think that is probably the year my patty was cooked....The meat was DRY. Not dry I 'm talking the Sahara desert has more moisture. I could not taste any seasoning...The top half of my bun was warm nice.The bottom half was refrigerator cold!I expected better from a meat market.I expected better for the tab $36 for 2 burgers, fries and drinks.Do better Whitehouse. Make em fresh...

Okay I generally love burgers and review them when they stand out. If you’re looking for a Meat Market this is the place. If you’re in Midland or Odessa and Love burger’s this is a fine burger. The toppings are wonderful the bun is Mrs Bairds however the burger meat is truly the star of the show. No bits of bone or excessive fat and seasoned spot on! Hands down the best sweet potato fries in the area. Lots of parking and seating outside in rear parking lot. Reasonable price and just Great West Texas spot!
